Red and green are traditional Christmas colors that I enjoying seeing this time of year but, sometimes the colours aren’t utilised in the best way resulting in a tacky aesthetic. In this image however, it adds a very classy feel to the tablescape and you can see it’s a result of how the colors are utilised. The red is represented with the vibrant satin napkins and the green comes out with the use of greenery, which is always such a nice element. What finishes the decor is the balance of the wooden elements, pine cones, gold cutlery and white tablecloth.
This tablescape reminds us how great of an impact simplicity can make. Decor here consists only of a garland made from real pine leaves and candles on gold stands and in gold jars, all complimented by the light colored wooden table. It’s simple but undeniably gorgeous.
Here the tablescape is more rustic with the mini trees which are so very seasonal, perfect for Christmas. The pine cones brings the whole thing together and look great next to those candles. If you don’t know where to find real pinecones, the fake ones will work just as well!
There are very few decor elements that I love more than warm lights and this table is absolutely perfect. It adds a very homey vibe to your table and your family will feel right at home. It would also be a great and easy DIY project as well. You could start by filling a mason jar with artificial snow flakes, add hollyberries and top them off with artificial pine tree leaves. You could make them extra special by adding battery powered string lights mixed in with the leaves. In between you can also do a shorter jar with just the snow and a tinned candle.
Here we have a more sophisticated tablescape that includes gorgeous metallics: gold, silver and copper, which are always pretty this time of year. You can incorporate the colors in the cutlery, plate chargers, glassware and fun Christmas themed pieces to create your own look.
Gingerbread houses! How cute is this one! This is perfect especially if there are lots of kids around, they will certainly appreciate this tablescape. And of course, it makes a great DIY project for them. Compliment them with some frosted hollyberries and pine leave and you will have yourself a decorated table.
There is something simply gorgeous about this one. The candles in the log with the wicker placemats and pine leaves creates the perfect boho minimalist tablescape. The light colored wooden table is the perfect base for this look.
If you have a marble table, this tablescape is perfection! If you don’t, then that’s okay, this decor would also look great on a pine colored wooden table. These elements compliment each other and create a classy Christmas themed tablescape. Seriously when is black and gold ever a bad idea?
When I look at this one I see Farmhouse Traditional Christmas. I can’t stress enough the tremendous impact that greenery has on Christmas tablescapes. In fact, it’s amazing in Christmas decor in general. As you can tell by now, gold cutlery is perfect for your Christmas dining tables.
I absolutely love this place setting, the mini wreath and ornament adds a personalised touch that everyone will be sure to love. Also, the dried orange half add the perfect pop of color.
What I love most about this one would be the floor length garland with the pops of red roses and the lanterns with candles on the floor. That’s what brings this one over the top. This would also be gorgeous for a romanic dinner.
Details, detail, details. If you’re able to find crockery with Christmas details that would be great!
I love this one because of how unique the decor is and not so much like your typical Christmas tablescape. The wool runner on the light colored table with lanterns, complimented by pine cones and pine leaves are so beautiful. It almost looks a little too neat to sit at.
Hopefully you found some great ideas in this post or perhaps are able to adopt one of these ideas entirely. Either way, I am sure your Christmas tablescape will be picture worthy and everyone will love it.
Merry Christmas and Happy Decorating!
