Christmas is almost here and before we know it’ll be time to start decorating. Some of us already have Christmas Decor stored up in a box, but many of us like to change it up each year, or maybe it’s your first year decorating. Here’s a list I’ve complied of 15 Christmas Decor inspiration photos that’ll be sure to get your creative juices flowing.
Your kitchen will be one of your most visited rooms for guests during the holiday, which makes it a great place to do a display. These ceramic jars aren’t the same as those pictured above, but they’ll surely inspire some holiday cheer.
Your entryway will be one of your most important spots to decorate as it’s the first point of contact for you and your guests. This is the area that will welcome you home and set the tone for what’s inside. The use of the garland, fairy lights, rustic sign, and lanterns all make this entryway look and feel so homey.
Red is a traditional Christmas Decor color but this photo shows that your Christmas Decor can be beautiful and full of Christmas cheer without the bright color we’re all used to. Green and warm fairy lights are one of my favorite combos.
Similar to the previous photo but the warm fairy lights stand out more here and the white stockings are beautiful. The hints of brown with the acorns and throw add an earthy element that’s refreshing.
The Christmas decor in this photo is mostly red and silver with snow elements which shows you that you can do your decor with very little green, or perhaps no green at all.
What I love most about this photo is that it’s minimalist and still brings off a gorgeous Christmas vibe. Notice that white and snow elements are strong in this photo.
This one shows you that you can add a little black and your decor will still be stunning, and not in the least lacking Christmas cheer.
This kitchen decor is minimalist but the use of the red ribbon against the white cabinets stands out just enough to make a significant impact, with hints of green.
The white walls make everything in this room pop. The Christmas Decor is incredibly simple and gives a homey feeling.
Fireplaces typically add magic to a home but it does something even more special during the winter. The mini trees on the mantle with the sign in the back and the lights add even more magic to this room.
Let’s not forget your dining room where you’ll have your delicious Christmas dinner with your friends and family. You can add another tree here with warm lights, some traditional Christmas colors, gorgeous table decor and you’ll make the moment even more special.
Here’s some of that stunning table decor that I mentioned above. These Christmas themed mason jars are very simple and would make a super fun DIY project. If you want to take things up a notch, include Christmas decor in your place setting as well. I also have to point out that gorgeous tree in the back!
The decor in this photo is definitely much heavier than most of the photos we’ve seen so far but, I love it! It makes a very cozy space where I’d love to curl up with a warm cup of hot chocolate. The cushions are one of my favorite elements. These cushion covers aren’t the same but they’re still super cute.
By now you guys should’ve picked up that I love white, and this photo really does it for me. White at Christmas makes everything feel very snowy and what says Christmas more than snow? Add hints of your favorite Christmas colors to balance out the white.
Another white photo :), but this one is more for my farmhouse decor lovers. Christmas Decor with rustic farmhouse elements is just super gorgeous.
These photos are all very stunning and tickle the Christmas spirit in our soul that only true Christmas Decor can. But what I think they show us more than anything is that there is no fast and hard rule for Christmas Decor, you can do traditional decor, or use the elements that you love the most from traditional decor, or do something that’s different and contemporary. Either way, it’s all up to you and there are several ways to make your home look amazing during the Christmas season.
